How much money on average does a E2 in the army make per month with a wife and child?

My husband is leaving in about a month for basic. I’m worried we wont have enough money for our finances. I would like to know the break down of how much money he would be making during basic, when he gets deployed and when he is home.

close to 3000 a month that with you’re housing allowance but that also depends on where you live and the cost of liveing remeber in basic he will only be a e1 he wont get e2 until he gets out of basic. tell him to join the navy he will make rank faster and you get sea pay and a safe ship with a nice bed
