How To Make Money Enchanting
Enchanting in World of Warcraft?
I’m an extreme noob in WoW. I made enchanting one of my professions since it makes the most money later on.
I want someone to give me a description over what enchanting is. I can’t even figure out how to start lol. I bought a copper rod, strange dust, and simple wood as basic supplies. But I don’t know what to do to raise the skill lulz.
Help please.
Enchanting materials are made by destroying gear with a quality of green or better. So usually you won’t start getting anything until around level 10 or so. The good news is you can DE (disenchant) souldbound items so they don’t go to waste or a vendor like other players have to do. The bad news is because you will be disenchanting many of the drops you find, instead of selling them on AH, you will end up being poorer then many of the other players. I have heard that enchanters make money but I did it to lvl 350+ and never made any money (partly because it is a very popular prof) except for the fact that I didn’t have to pay for enchants. The best prof to make money with IMO is alchemy. My mage was elixers speced and made the money for his epic flyer with that trade. The reason it is good is it is really annoying having all those plant parts in your bags. Herbalism can be a bit of a drag.
The best way to level enchanting (which you won’t do for various reasons) would be to disenchant all the items you arn’t going to use. You gain levels this way. Don’t use the dust/ess/shards until after you stop leveling from disenchanting. Then you go to the trainer and pick up the enchants that require the lowest materials for a level. As you move up you just pick the good ones to level with. Try to use up the dust and ess at an even rate with going a bit heavy on the dust in the beginning of each stage or you will end up with unused ess. (Oh and to level enchanting just use any peice of gear and just keep re-applying the enchant you are leveling with, in most cases you won’t even be able to give away the enchants for free untill you get way advanced)
More practically… De all soulbound items that you won’t use, but drops you find de only the armor, and sell the weapons on AH or you will be living in the poor house.
