Creating, Hosting, and Running a Forum?
I wanna start up a forum, and hopefully make some money on the side while creating a nice community for music lovers. I need some help though. Where do I begin?
I want something that is easy to maintain, and run. I wanna be able to add moderators, and administators with ease, and to not worry about it falling apart from a bad host.
To give you an example of what I mean, I wanna make something similar to rockforums.net
Yeah, not really original, but most of these sites don’t really keep up with the forums, and just fall apart, so I figured I’d take advantage of this and make my own. I have plenty of free time, so I can take care of it myself.
So how do I get started? How can I make some money to keep the site going? I mean, how do you get advertisements on a forum? Not really an easy thing to do…if not by advertisements, how do you make money on a forum?

How to get a forum started and make money of it.

Make changes to your liking in the forum.
Send an email to all your friends and families to register and get them to send emails to their friends
Add google adsense on your site to make money and to cover cost.
