Is HD for Gran Turismo 4 worth it?

I have Gran Turismo 4 (and I am not interested in getting a PS3 because the only game that looks good to me on it is GT5 and I don’t want to spend that much money for one game so please DON’T try to talk me into a PS3) any way I have GT4 and an HD TV. I saw that I can buy a HD cable for my PS2. Is it worth getting the HD cable for the PS2 and does it make GT4 look any better? If so are there any recomendation for a cable brand? (don’t worry about explaining how to set GT for HD I already know how to do that)

it should make the quality of the image a lot better, and any hdmi cable works just as well, no matter how muhc the price is or what name it has…..
