Writing EBooks is Easy – 3 Tips to To Help You Make Money

Writing eBooks can be a great avenue for you if you are wanting to bring in some extra money. If you really want to work from home, then this is a fantastic way to make that dream a reality. By writing an eBook, you are continually making money because there are always new potential customers surfing the web for the information you have provided. Once you learn the steps of doing this properly, you can apply them to more than one eBook so you can make even more money.

So, you’re still a little scared at attempting to author an eBook. You think no one will be interested in what you have to say. Or you think you don’t have the right training to get your written work out.

An empty computer screen with the scroll tab blinking at you can be like nails on a chalk board. But have no fear, even published authors can have the same fear.

The only difference between you and them, is that they take that fear and channel it into their writing passion. If your computer screen stays empty, then so will your bank account. If you are having issues getting your eBook started, then follow these simple steps and you too can become an author.

1. You need to see yourself winning at the end of the race.

By imagining what it will feel like to be a published author, you will propel yourself to start the process. Your mind can make you do extraordinary things, and you need to use that potential.

Imagine how the words will flow from you to your fingertips to the keys on the keyboard and finally onto the screen. Imagine looking at your checking account as it starts to incrementally get more and more money once you are done. This type of visualization will help you hurdle over your writers block so you can start writing.

2. Begin in the middle.

If you are attempting to write a research type eBook, it can be difficult to get all the information situated properly. Start with the core of the book and you will be able to add the start and the finish later.

You need to know where your information is heading before you can create a title or a prologue for your eBook. And by knowing this, it will be easier to come up with a good beginning and a good ending. There’s nothing worse than starting to read something, thinking that it is going to be a certain way, and then it shifts focus leaving you out in the cold.

3. Have a work “can-do” attitude.

When you have a regular job, with a boss managing you, you manage to get your job done and on time. Keep this same attitude as you work from your home office. Do not be tempted to waste your time doing “research” on MySpace or Facebook or IM’ing friends telling them that you are writing an eBook.

Telling someone else what you are planning to do, is not actually doing it. Open up a blank word document every time you sit down at the computer. You should challenge yourself to write a few new pages everyday that will help you finish your eBook.

Writing an eBook should be an invigorating experience for you if you have the right mind set. Your goal should always be in the forefront of your mind and this will help you maintain consistency in your writing. When you are writing your eBook, harness your inner boss and work as hard for yourself as you would someone else. This is your life and your chance to make money on your terms, so do it now!
