Ok i have gone through many different ways of making money in world f warcraft such as farming which is too boring, running instances and such also boring, etc but i have found the auction house to be the most interesting. I have ownloaded the auctioneer add on and have used it sometimes like btm scanner but i am not sure how to use it to find out what items i need to buy so that i can re sell so could somebody tell me what i should buy on the auctin house or give me a link to another site which can tell me exacltly how to use the add on and also what things i can buy and sell to make loads of money. sori about the spelling mistakes.

There really is no set of items that you should always look for, that will always be low priced but sell for more.

To be truly successful at the auction house game, you’ll have to spend a lot of time going over the items in the AH at any given time, get a feel for what items go for on your server, possibly write down data for reference. The main thing you have to know is what a good price is on your server. Auctioneer does a good job of this by scanning all of the items in the auction house and keeping a historical record of it. You’ll see “Scan” in the auctioneer addon (you have to talk to an auctioneer to get the addon up, as it loads with the auction window) — and then scan.. Do this often. Then, when you hover your mouse over a certain item, it will give you the historical averages of that item. You use this, plus data you’ve gathered on your own to make an informed judgment of what to buy.

The basic premise is to buy low, sell high. Find items that are under-priced in the AH, hold on to them, and then re-sell them when demand is high again. It’s relatively high risk, but higher-priced items are usually a good source of money, if you have a good deal of money to invest. People are always looking for quick money, and may post things like Primal Mights at a 10G undercut trying to get a quick sale. Primal Might is only an example, there are many more things that are commonly undercut, but you have to get to know the auction house on your own server to know which items truly shine.

It takes a lot of research, and a lot of knowledge as to your server’s economics to be truly successful at the AH game.
