Well I want to get a i Pod Touch 8Gb. I make $5 a week doing chores around the house. I have $50 at the moment and I’m $230 away. How long would it take to get one if i do nothing but get $5 a week. I could get my bro to pay me but how much should I ask him to pay me weekly to wash his car Mitsubishi Eclipse.

$230 divided by $5 is 46 weeks, or close to a year. Better start being a dog walker or mow lawns.

Ask him first how much he wants for a basic wash. Then ask him how much he will pay you for extras, like cleaning and putting Armor All on the tires, vacuuming the inside and wiping down the upolstry, putting Rainex on the windows, waxing the car, etc. Tell him that detailers charge over $100 for this.
