How To Make Money Woodworking

how to make a branding iron?

I want to make a branding iron, cost to much to buy one. How do i get started what is the best metal ti use that is easy to shape? I can do basic welding but do not want to. it is a small logo like a money symbol, my initials, SH, in a script font. I am using it for small woodworking projects i do. I wish their was something i could melt and poor into a wood carving that could take the heat from a small torch. Like pour or smear it in, burn off the wood and presto iron. Sounds to easy but i am sure their has to be a relitivly inexpensive way.

So this is how you torture ya victims is it ???If bodies start turning up with your initials on them I will raise an eyebrow………
and wonder why I did not think of it first.
